Park Place restaurant is pairing up with the Kentucky chapter of American Institute of Wine & Food (AIWF) to present "A Harvest Tomato Collection." This four-course dinner with wine pairings will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 22 at 6:30 p.m., with a tomato tasting of locally grown heirloom varieties. The price is $65 for AIWF members and $75 for non-members.

Mushroom, Halibut & Shrimp Ceviches with Three Different Tomatoes
Tomato and Goat Cheese Terrine
Herb Grilled Lamb Rack
Green Tomato Tart
General Manager Jerry Slater will present paired wines with each course. "The wines we have chosen will bring out the richness and different flavors in each dish, highlighting the tomato," says Slater. "I think guests will have a new appreciation for the tomato in tasting how versatile the flavor can be when paired with complementary wines." Reservations are required.
